Randy oversees the facilities and finances for the church. He grew up as a pastor’s kid in three states and two Canadian provinces starting in North Dakota. Randy's education includes Bible College in Edmonton, Alberta, and a Bachelor’s degree from Azusa Pacific University. Christian camp ministry was his chosen vocation for fourteen years prior to accepting a position here at SBC in 2004.

Jay Pink is an attorney who works with businesses and families on estate planning and business law matters. Having his CPA license, and working in multiple family businesses over his career has positioned him to provide valuable insight on successful business operations. He has formed many entities – LLC’s, Corps Partnerships, and non-profit organizations.

Jerry has been a Financial Peace University facilitator for over 20 years, teaching multiple courses per year. Jerry was trained as an educator in industrial arts for 30 years. He is excited to help people realize a debt-free life is possible. 

Born and raised in the Bay Area, Daniel started in finance in 2010, following the footsteps of his great-grandfather, grandfather, and mother. After living all over the western United States, Daniel and wife, Heather moved back to Sonora in April 2018 to join Freer Financial.  Daniel has held the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designations in the past and currently holds his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) and Enrolled Agent (EA) certifications.  The EA credential is the highest credential awarded by the IRS and recognized as a tax expert across all 50 states.

Raised here in Sonora, Nate then attended Master’s College and graduated with a BS in Biology so that he could help God save the earth (minus all the land use requirements). He then attended Tozer Seminary while working and raising a family because I finally realized that I could love people better with a little more help. He and his wife, Kathy, and I served with the Youth Ministry here at SBC for 14  years and then as the Pastor of Connections and Compassion for 9 years before transitioning into the Lead Pastor role summer of 2022. Nate is a cancer survivor, mountain biker, water skier, dirt bike rider, builder, teammate, missionary, leader, and lover of God’s Church — in whom he has great hope!

Craig and Ruth Pedro have been married for 43 years and have 3 children and 5 grandchildren.  They have attended SBC for 39 years and been active in many aspects of the ministry throughout that time.  One of the key ministries they have led and/or supported is that of teaching and counseling groups and individuals in the area of financial stewardship. Craig is a retired County Administrative Officer and Ruth is a retired teacher.  Both are Certified Budget Counselors. 

Justin has been with Caldwell Insurance since 2012 and manages the agency’s daily operations while also working as a producer in both the personal and commercial insurance divisions. Candice has been with Caldwell Insurance Services since 2003. In addition to being a producer for commercial insurance, she is passionate about including life and health insurance for all her clients. When they are not working in insurance, they spends time with their four kiddos.
