Missions Update: Katie D. with EFCA West

Did you know that prior to Russia invading Ukraine, the Ukrainian church was growing? There are 7 seminaries in Kiev. God is moving, even as the battle rages. So church, what does it look like to support the global church in times of crisis? Global Worker, Katie, can answer this well. After working in Europe for 10 years, most of which were spent in Berlin and bordering countries, she learned very well that the most effective global strategy is prayer.

Katie is currently holding two hats, both with EFCA West (Evangelical Free Church of America, West) and ReachGlobal, a discipleship group within the organization. The primary work of this incredible woman is to mobilize churches in prayer and partnering together during crisis situations. Currently she is stateside, working with relief efforts to resettle the now over 2 million refugees from Ukraine.

Fortunately for us, Katie will be here THIS SUNDAY (March 13) during both the 8:45 and 10:30 service, as well as coming back for a greater dialogue in the Music Room at 4:00.
