Volunteer Spotlight: Dawn Romani
1. What brought you to Sierra Bible Church and how long have you been here?
My family! I began attending anytime I would visit my family that moved here 20 years ago. And when I moved here four years ago, there was doubt I would be attending and serving at SBC. In fact, Becky had me fill out my volunteer packet before I even moved, and I was serving my first Sunday here!
2. Where are you serving at SBC?
I serve in Children's Ministry. I enjoy working with kids of all ages so it is the perfect place.
*She says this so humbly. Church, she is in the office most days structuring lesson plans, cutting paper and creating craft ideas. You'll often find her before service on Sundays and staying after to clean up, re-organize and encourage the other leaders. She is amazing!
3. If you had to choose today, what would be the title of your autobiography?
Table for One - I've had lots of interesting experiences as a single traveling through life; and, even with a table for one, there is always that other seat available for when a companion comes along to share in the adventure
4. Would you rather fight one elephant-sized pigeon, or 50 pigeon-sized elephants?
One elephant-sized pigeon - I just want to focus on one thing when I fight; I'll save the multi-tasking for getting things done
5. What is your most useful talent?
Training - I enjoy learning and then helping others learn, whether it be how to do something or knowledge
Ok, church! Now you know Miss Dawn. Be sure to say HI next time you see her!
