BEHOLD THE KING!

I don't know about you, but I keep yelling, "DRUM!" and it may or may not be startling our dog. That was incredible! I am so impressed by the long hours and dedication of our band and all of those students to put forth the three performances over the weekend. Thank you to all who participated and joined us. We hope your heart was filled to brim, overflowing even, with resounding JOY. Indeed, we have a lot to be LOUD about.
In the many ways we are loved by the King, one of the most profound was how Jesus flipped the script. It's a wonder that, in all of history and present day religious sectors, Christianity has everything to do with us always being enough for Him. Because of His love for us, leading to His death on a cross, there is nothing that we can do that will make Him love us more. Or less. No ounce of goodness that grants us rights to Heaven. It's Him. In Him and through Him, we are made whole. In Him and through Him, we are made righteous. In Him and through Him, we are redeemed. There is no King like our Jesus.
During this Christmas season, if you are struggling with to live in joy, please reach out to one of our pastoral staff (209-532-1381). Let us pray with you and encourage you. Let us hear your heart and together, turn it over to Jesus who can carry you.
